The taco dance is on tonight
Bring your soul into its spicy light
And if you don't like things so spicy
You can always have just beans and ricey
Tacos for breakfast and
Tacos for lunch
Tacos for dinner
A snack with a crunch
Dessert can be had
with a taco, so true
Are dessert choco tacos
now calling for you?
My taco is my favorite pet
One day I took it to the vet
The vet said it had lost its glow
So they added some onions and cilantro
Tiny little tacos one-two-three
All lined up for you to see
One bite each, they are no more
Siesta! now it's time to snore
I did not want to write
another cheesy taco poem
But the Taco Poem Totem
came to me and asked for more
I said OK, I’ll try it out
and this is what I penned:
I’ll send you a taco in the mail
because you are my friend
I was strolling down an ocean beach
when a crab came up to me
It said "Give me a taco
and then I will let you be"
"If not then I will pinch you
which will surely make you jump"
So I cast my taco to the crab
and kicked it in the rump
If your pumpkin were instead a taco
Would you carve it up for halloween?
Then place it on your big front porch
With a spooky candle to be seen?
Do you think the kids who trick or treat
Would pass on candy just to try
A tasty bite of that taco meat?
Then make it spicy so that they will cry
Tacos can have feelings too
Don't step on them with your dirty shoe
Lift them up and hold them tight
Then you will see them glow with light
They want to love, they want to heal
They are much more than just a meal
So chew your tacos carefully
They’ll love you more I guarantee
